So, yesterday I asked a friend of mine who happened to be a male , if it’s possible for a man to love two women at the same time? He answered, he believes it’s possible but then he flipped the question and asked me. I never thought to answer the question myself or think to ever provide my thoughts and opinions. So to my friend, I answered that I do believe that you can love more than one person at a time; however, I believe that the love varies and it’s based on several factors such as emotions, history and deeds. By these, I mean some people love other people based on how they make them feel especially if they’ve never experienced any true feelings or felt appreciated and adored. You have those who love others based on how long they’ve known each other despite rather or not much interaction occurs over the time. Then, you have those who love based on what the person has done or doing for them. There is a no limit on love, the heart pumps blood continuously therefore, love is ever flowing. You can’t help who you love but you can help how you choose to love. Too much pressure has been placed on how a person should love, what it means to receive love and who you should love? I say love who you want to love as long as they make you happy, bring out the best in you and help you live your true life!
What are your thoughts?

I told myself months ago and even a year ago that I would be more consistent with blogging. But then I thought to myself, who and whom am I being consistent for when no one actually knows it exist. Despite the reality of it, I enjoy writing my thoughts down and instead of having an actual handwritten journal, I prefer the use of a digital journal.
So much as changed since my last post. I laid the arts & crafts and YouTube vlogging to a rest. I've realized that you have to pick your battles and those were ones that were not for me. I didn't abandon the craft portion completely, I picked up sewing in the meantime. I have found it therapeutic as well, I'm not aiming to be a contestant on the next Project Runway but this is a craft, I should've learned as a kid. Due to the fact that my mom is an excellent seamstress. But like they say, you are never to young or too old to learn something new.
Besides sewing, I started dating, got a job promotion and currently entering my last semester of grad school. So I can truly say this year is going out in style. But let's focus on the dating. So yes, I reconnected with someone from my past and starting off it was AMAZING but then reality sat in, the honeymoon phased out and life got real! I have never been in a "real" relationship and I don't know what TV shows, I have been watching or what but I didn't realize that you can FUCK UP as much as I have in such a short amount of time. No, I don't mean in a crazy way let's just put it like this, you can't treat everybody the same. Hell, I didn't know how much I could learn about myself in such a short time either. I have come to grip that I have gotten away with a lot of things, that no one ever pointed out and that may be due to the fact that they didn't care. Now what was overlooked before is not being overlooked now, I have had to take some moments and do some self-realizations, recite a few phrases in the mirror lol! I know I'm not saying much but put it like this the more I'm in this relationship, I am learning more about myself and having to face the reality that I am often times, my own worst enemy. I believe you can be single for way too long and when people come and go, we often replay the idea that "oh he wasn't the one" or "that's not the person God has for us" and in most cases, I believe that is true. However, I believe in a lot of cases it is our actions, reactions, insecurities and lack of self-confidence that's the reason people chose to get out when they can. My current relationship may last forever or end a month from now but what I will takeaway from it all is to 1. Some men like you exactly who you are DO NOT try to change yourself however it is ok to make some readjustments that will benefit you as a person and 2. Overthinking will leave your ass still SINGLE!!!
Until next time....
Hey guys!
I know it's been awhile since I last wrote a blog post. I have been so busy finishing up my remaining classes for my Masters. I have three more classes left, I'm hoping to be completed by the first 8 weeks in the Fall semester and graduating next May. This education journey has been fun but baby girl is tired. I have been in school nonstop since 2009 from obtaining a Bachelors, Professional certificates, changing graduate schools twice and changing my graduate major not once or twice but thrice (three) times. I don't plan on stopping completely after finishing my Master's however, I am not in any rush to start again immediately. Well besides school, I began indulging in the world of arts & crafts by either making masquerade masks as well as clutch purses. I've looked to YouTube for all my inspirations. Who knew what you could make with items from the Dollar Tree (vanity mirror). Since, I just started I'm no expert and of course, it is not perfect but the more I work and become intrigued with myself, I know I'll be just as good as the next person. Who knows, I might open up me a little shop one day. Besides from being crafty, I created myself a YouTube page to go along with my family gaming page. So if any of you are reading this because go check out both of my YouTube pages!
Hope you all have a great week and stay blessed!
-Peace-

How many of you have felt so drained on a Monday?
I know I have and today was one of those days. After that heck of a Super Bowl game last night, I didn't want to work. I had no problem getting up for work, I just didn't want to do anything once I got there. Weird, right?! I had so many task to complete and I started on two and the third I didn't bother beginning. I did start back writing my book. I'm currently working on a book for middle schoolers, its sort of a Sci-Fi/Fantasy theme but nothing like a Harry Potter book. I don't think my brain can write a colossal of information like that. My imagination can only go so far. This past weekend, I began working on my clutch purse collection coming to my closet this spring. I've always wanted to make clutch purses so I decided to go ahead and get started. I have this belief that everybody should have a hobby or what some may called it, "A side hustle". If you can make money doing what you love or good at then why not?!
I know I haven't wrote to you guys in awhile and finding time has been a struggle. I've started back posting videos on my families, YouTube page. So when you guys get a chance go check it out. It's nothing fancy but we are trying to share with others how what we do on a day to day. My kids originally wanted to make a video of them playing video games but I decided that we should be inclusive and show events we attend and adventures we go on.

Well, I know this isn't much and it may be boring. I hope you all have a great week and so until next time.....
There are three topics that I was always told as a child that you don't debate or argue over: Race, Religion and Politics. But over the course of years, I have often times found myself discussing at least one of them and even to the point where I'm left defending both my race and my religion. So today, I feel compel to share my own personal opinion as it reflects to this new dawning age of the Trump. First off, I am truly saddened that Obama is no longer President but I know his work will continue on. That job or any job has the ability to build you up and then turn around and tear you completely apart. His presidency for many of Americans specifically, blacks was often times tumultuous particularly how many felt, he didn't speak up more for black Americans however, people failed to realize that he is not the sole leader of Blacks, Whites, Hispanics or Asians hence he is the leader of the "Free World-America". When he made decisions, he made them according to the needs of the people which comprise of people from all ethnicities. For me as a black american in 2008, I witnessed something that I never thought in a million years that I would see. In this lifetime, I witnessed a black man from the south side of Chicago become President of the United States. That moment within itself will go down in my book as "The Most Historical Moment in Black History". I am proud to have witnessed that moment. But not only that but I am proud to have witnessed a black family display the epitome of dignity, grace, values and integrity. This family acted as a model for all of those that believe that this kind of black love no longer exist. For eight years, they were scandal-free but yet endured so much hate and disrespect that I never recalled another president receive. Not even Clinton for his extramarital affairs and not even Bush for the illusion of the whole Weapon of Mass Destruction concept. Obama presidency showed me that race was live and well in America and his becoming was uncomfortable for some. With all of that said, I am going to miss Former President Obama and his entire family. But like the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end". I am not a fan of Trump and the rhetoric that rose him to presidential fame. It is upsetting that someone could use such rhetoric to rise to the top but people do what they have to do to get to where they want to. Despite what he did, I just hope that he focuses on making the many things he said wrong, right. I hope he works for all Americans and display a high level of compassion, respect and empathy to all people. America isn't perfect and many of the choices we as the people have made weren't perfect either however, over the course of American history we have seen this country get better, stronger and wiser. What has been broken can be fixed and for that I hope that he see that what makes this country the best is it's PEOPLE!
Well on Saturday, I finished my 6 day fast which consisted of prayer, devotional reading and eating one meal a day. I attempted to fast years ago but had no clue on how to do it properly. Seeking advice from my mother, I think I got it right if not oh well I tried. Anyways afterwards I'm feeling pretty good and comfortable about what I did and how. Sooo this weekend, I attended my first simulator/video gaming/STEM convention and boy was it super awesome. My kids and I really had an amazing time. We had the chance to see all kinds of cool games and gadgets. I think the coolest thing was seeing the demos to a lot of video games. The guys and girls looked so young. It's simply amazing how the brain stimulates and generates creativity. I wish I had some of that to go around. Anyways, the focus of the convention was STEM. So of course, NASA was there. They had a machine where you could see how a hurricane up to 70mph feel. The military was there showcasing stimulators specifically regarding the situation in the desert. Microsoft had all the cool tablets and laptops for display and also for my minecraft lovers. Kids were all over the minecraft games. My boys got a chance to jam on the Xbox One to DNCE " Cake by the Ocean". Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Such a great turnout and many cool things to see and do. If you guys know any children that are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics please...please...help them continue to explore those realms. Who knows they can be the next John Glenn or Albert Einstein!
Well guys have a great week! See ya next week! Peace ✌🏾
Hey ya'll! I hope you all had a wonderful New Years and endured your first week of the year. My work week was slow, the weather was gorgeous and I was able to complete more work-related training. I have to complete 40hrs of informal training by August and right now, I'm sitting at 22 hours. It has taken me 4 months to get to that number (hmmm...interesting). No I don't have much to go but if you knew the training I was taking sometimes, it takes me an entire day to complete one subject. You want to know why? Uh because, it is death by training slides. Anywho! This week, my church is fasting and I'm joining them as well. There are a few things that I would like to happen this year so I'm hoping that all those things begin to come into fruition. I've started working on my YouTube channel, I didn't do much but make a YouTube banner, but HEY! It's a start. Once I get it up and running, I'll be sure to share with you all. Sooo this week, I was able to start back watching 2 of my favorite shows: Teen Wolf and Vikings. I'm sad (insert teary emoji) that this is Teen Wolf final season. This show has been off the chain for the past 6 years, if you've never seen it and you like teeny-bopper, vampire, werewolf, banshee then this might just be the show for YOUUUUUUUUUUUU! Not your thing??!!!???!! Then if you LOVE history like I do and mythology then my friend, if you haven't checked out Vikings on the History channel. Then you missing out for sure that show is the sniz-i-e (in my lil scrappy voice/he's a rapper). It follows the rise and fall of the legendary Viking king Ragnar Lothbrook and it chronicles his invasion of many European countries that we know today as well as the tale of how his sons will be legends of their own. These men and women have a strong presence in Viking culture and history. I absolutely love the show, so if you haven't seen it GO WATCH IT NOW!
Well that's all I got, you all have a great week! Stay warm!

In about 6 hrs 55 minutes, we will all be ringing in the New Year 2017 toasting our glasses, partying with friends and singing Auld Lang Syne! As I reflect on 2016, it started off tumultuous but it eventually ended spectacular. I was blessed with a new job, new profession and I moved to the northern part of the city. My kids gained another year and they are healthy and growing tall. As 2016 ends, I look forward to the year 2017 and all the happiness and blessings I expect it to bring!
So raise your glasses and toast to a good new year!
Let me start the first post of 2016 off right by saying:
I hope this year brings you all much prosperity and your heart most treasured desires!!!!
I didn't noticed many individuals receiving any electronic devices to include tablets, IPads, or even laptops this year. I guess that's due to the hoverboard craze, there will be so many individuals gliding around as if they were Aladdin on his magic carpet.
Anyways, let's tip of the New Year with 5 tips for faster charging of your IPhone.
Tip #1: Charge your IPhone using an IPad charger
IPad charger contains more volts, amps and watts than an IPhone charger, therefore giving you extra power.
Tip #2: Turn on Airplane mode
Airplane mode turns off all incoming and outgoing signals, therefore if can charge without being interrupted by text messages and phone calls
Tip #3: Charge your phone while its OFF
Turning if off stops all power from that is needed to run applications as well as the power that's need to operate your screen. This enables your phone to charge a lot faster.
Tip #4: Charge phone in a cool area
Self explanatory
Tip #5: 100% Charge
At least once a month fully charge your phone, meaning let it reach 100% and let it discharge itself.
Ensures for a longer lasting battery life
I hope you all find these tips helpful. Have an amazing year, talk to you all next month!!!

It seems like this year the coolest and most chic gadgets are not tablets, cellphones or laptops but wait for it? Headphones!!! Yes, I can't believe it myself. I just recently purchased my children some super inexpensive headphones from 5 and below and boyyyy do they love those things and so do I. The only sounds I hear from them are laughs and sighs. Mommy did well by purchasing those things.

My favorite sites are Facebook of course, Instagram and LinkedIn. I like Facebook for the ability to communicate with some of my family and old military friends in which I haven't seen in years. I like it because it keeps me in contact and catch up on life and career goals as well as see how a person is looking these days. I would say Instagram is my favorite. I often ask myself why didn't I think of a picture sharing app. I absolutely love looking at other people pictures as well as sometimes the funny captions that goes along with the photos. Some people have some creative minds and often there is a hidden photographer within them as well. I think LinkedIn is pretty cool for its networking opportunities as well as the ability to find a job, follow companies you work for or hope to work for one day. I also like how often times that will recommend jobs for you and/or show you jobs that you might be interested in.

Samsung officially unveils Galaxy Tab 3 Lite tablet
The new 7-inch tablet is packed with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 2-megapixel rear camera, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

(Credit: Samsung)Following a surge of recent leaks, the so-dubbed lighter version of the full Galaxy Tab 3 was finally announced by Samsung on Thursday. Many of the features match those of the current Tab 3, while others have been removed. Overall, Samsung is touting the new Lite edition for its "slimmer, more portable design."
Powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core process, the Tab 3 Lite serves up a 7-inch 1,024x600-pixel display, a 2-megapixel rear camera, 1GB of memory, 8GB of storage, and a microSD card slot that can up the storage to 32GB. Samsung's specs also reveal Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, and 2G connectivity along with a 3,600mAh battery rated for up to eight hours of video playback on a single charge.
To shrink the tablet and still retain a 7-inch display, Samsung moved the menu bar from the screen to the bezel.
Samsung didn't spill any details on pricing or launch dates but said the tablet will be available globally in white and black versions. The full 8GB Galaxy Tab 3 retails for $200, so the Lite model will have to sell at a more appealing price to win over buyers.

Do you all know that African Americans make up 3% of IT professionals?
I will not say whether it too could be because this field is male dominant as well as the racial makeup being predominately white. I think we as a people don't attempt to explore and allow our children to explore other alternatives to being successful. We focus so much on our sons being the next Lebron, Kobe or KD that we don't realize that all of our children will not possess the same stamina, perservance, determination, motivation and ultimately God-gifted talent as these individuals as well as our daughters being caretakers, nurses, doctors and lawyers. I'm not saying that they can't be of such but let's open them up to the subjects of Mathematics and Science. We will save our life savings for the next pair of Jordans but we won't empower our children to be the next big fashion designer, shoe maker or business exec for Nike, Reebok and Adidas. Technology is rapidly growing and its ever-changing before you know it technology will be all we have to utilize in that day and age. I, too, am the mother of two boys. I will allow my children the ability to utilize their athleticism if that's what they choose but I will not hinder or omit to show them a world outside of what's played on the field and on a court.
Show your kids another world because you might not know who they might become!
